Profile

I am a native English speaker with more than 20 years experience speaking and writing in Spanish. I have BS in Biology and a minor in Spanish from Stanford University and am currently enrolled in the certificate program at New York University for Spanish to English translation. I am also a member of the American Translators Association and the Northern California Translators Association.

Because of my background and real-world experience in ecology, wildlife biology, veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, and biotechnology, I focus on these areas in my translation work. My combination of scientific and linguistic expertise ensures that all my work is not only free of errors that a layperson might make, but that it is also professionally written and presented.
